What is the Interpretation of Roads Through Densely Populated Areas?
At Article 3 of the National Technical Regulation QCVN 41:2019/BGTVT (effective from July 1, 2020) on Road Signs, it is stipulated:
Road passing through residential areas is a section of road located within the inner city, inner district-level town, inner commune-level town, and sections of road with residents living along the road, having activities that may impact road traffic safety and determined by road signs as a road passing through residential areas (if necessary, it can be determined separately for each direction of the road).
In addition, the Regulation also stipulates:
Urban road (UD) is a road located within the administrative boundaries of inner cities, inner district-level towns, and inner commune-level towns.
