The priority order of vehicles when participating in traffic is stipulated in the National Technical Regulation QCVN 41:2019/BGTVT on Road Traffic Signs, specifically:
The following vehicles have the right of way over other vehicles at intersections from any direction in the following order:
- Fire engines on duty;
- Military vehicles, police vehicles on urgent duty; convoys escorted by police cars;
- Ambulances performing emergency duties;
- Dyke protection vehicles, vehicles on duties to mitigate natural disasters, epidemics, or vehicles on emergency duties as stipulated by law;
- Funeral processions
