What documents should be presented if the CCCD card has not been received when flying?
Appendix XIV Issued together with Circular 13/2019/TT-BGTVT stipulating identity documents, tickets, and boarding passes as follows:
...
b) For passengers with Vietnamese nationality, they must present one of the following documents:
- Passport or laissez-passer, separate visa, permanent residence card, temporary residence card, identity card, citizen identification card;
- Certification paper, certificate from the people's police, people's army; National Assembly Representative card; Communist Party member card; Press card;
- Automobile, motorbike driver's license; card of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee; long-term valid airport and airport security control card;
- Identification card of Vietnamese airlines;
- Identity confirmation paper issued by the police of the ward, commune where the person resides permanently or temporarily (the confirmation paper must include the following information: confirming agency, confirming person; date, month, year of confirmation; full name, date of birth, gender, place of birth, place of permanent residence of the confirmed person; reason for confirmation. The confirmation paper must have a photo, be stamped across the photo, and is only valid for 30 days from the date of confirmation);
- Confirmation paper from a competent authority certifying that the passenger has just completed a prison sentence.
Therefore, based on the above regulations and in the case that you have not received your Citizen Identification Card (CIC), you can replace it with some of the above documents, for example: Passport, Driver's License, Communist Party member card, etc.
