What documents must contract vehicle drivers carry when transporting passengers?
Article 47 of Decree 10/2020/ND-CP (Effective from April 1, 2020) stipulates the types of documents that contract vehicle drivers must carry when transporting passengers, which are:
- Documents as prescribed by the Law on Road Traffic;
- Written transport contracts signed by the transportation business unit;
- Passenger lists with confirmation stamps from the transportation business unit;
- In the case of using electronic contracts, drivers are not required to carry the transport contract and passenger list, but must have a device to access the contents of the electronic contract and the accompanying passenger list.
- In cases of performing transport contracts for funerals or weddings, drivers are also not required to carry the aforementioned documents (except for documents as prescribed by the Law on Road Traffic).
Thus, starting from April 1, 2020, contract vehicle drivers must carry the aforementioned documents when transporting passengers.
Respectfully!
