What are the Essential Facilities of an Airport?

Based on Clause 9 Article 3 of Decree 05/2021/ND-CP (Effective from March 10, 2021):

Essential works of an airport include a minimal system of structures within the airport infrastructure, ensuring that the airport or airfield can be brought into and maintained for operation, adhering to regulations on safety, security, and service quality as prescribed by law, consisting of:

- Airport infrastructure;

- Works serving aviation security assurance, airport emergency response facilities outside the airport; airport fencing structures;

- General technical infrastructure works of the airport, including: internal airport roads outside the airport; power supply structures; water supply and drainage structures; lighting structures; communication structures; environmental protection works;

- Passenger terminals, diplomatic service guesthouses, cargo terminals, warehousing facilities along with cargo assembly areas;

- Structures, technical infrastructure ensuring flight operations.
