Validity Period of the Temporary Vehicle Registration Certificate

According to Article 14 of Circular 58/2020/TT-BCA, the validity period of a temporary vehicle registration certificate and the place for temporary vehicle registration are as follows:

- The temporary vehicle registration certificate has a maximum validity period of 30 days.

- Vehicles belonging to the subjects specified in Clauses 2, 3, and 5 of Article 13 of this Circular: The validity period of the temporary vehicle registration certificate is recorded according to the period authorized by the competent authority to serve these activities.

- Temporarily registered vehicles are allowed to participate in traffic according to the period, route, and scope of activities stated in the temporary vehicle registration certificate.

- Vehicle owners may register at the nearest vehicle registration authority.

According to the previous regulation, the temporary vehicle registration certificate had a maximum validity period of 15 days (Clause 1, Article 18 of Circular 15/2014/TT-BCA).
