According to Article 4 of Circular 58/2020/TT-BCA, which stipulates the time limit for issuing vehicle registration certificates and license plates, specifically:
Initial issuance and replacement of vehicle license plates: Immediately after receiving a valid vehicle registration dossier.
Issuance of temporary vehicle registration certificates and temporary license plates: Within the day.
Initial issuance, replacement of vehicle registration certificates, issuance of certificate of registration recall, and license plates: No more than 2 working days from the date of receipt of a valid dossier.
Reissuance of lost license plates, blurred, or damaged license plates: No more than 7 working days from the date of receipt of a valid dossier.
Reissuance of lost vehicle registration certificates: No more than 30 days from the date of receipt of a valid dossier.
Thus, in the case of losing your vehicle registration certificate, the time to receive the reissued vehicle registration certificate is no more than 30 days from the date of receipt of a valid dossier.
