Some Terms Used in Determining the Reflection Coefficient of Observation Devices for Automobiles
According to Section B.1, Appendix B of the National Technical Regulation QCVN 33:2019/BGTVT issued with Circular 26/2019/TT-BGTVT, the regulations are as follows:
- CIE Standard Illuminant A: Colored light, with color corresponding to the temperature emitted entirely at T68 = 2,855.6 K.
- CIE Standard Source A: Tungsten filament lamp illuminated in color corresponding to the temperature T68 = 2855.6 K.
- CIE 1931 Standard Colorimetric Observer: A device that perceives radiation with color characteristics corresponding to the spectral values x(λ), y(λ), z(λ) (see Table B.1).
- CIE Spectral Tristimulus Values: The values of the spectral components of an energy spectrum corresponding to the CIE (XYZ) system.
- Photopic Vision: The image perceived by the human eye of the light beam when adjusted to levels with a brightness of a few cd/m2.
