Publication of Temporary Inland Waterway Port Operations in Which Case?

Clause 7, Article 18 of Decree 08/2021/ND-CP stipulates the announcement of inland waterway port operations as follows:

In the case where an inland waterway port completes the construction of one or more wharves, and the investor wishes to commence operations immediately, the investor must compile a dossier as prescribed in Clause 2 of this Article and submit it to the competent authority for temporary operation announcement. The validity period of the decision announcing the temporary operation of the wharf shall not exceed 01 year. This provision does not apply to inland waterway ports receiving foreign watercraft.

Thus, in the case where an inland waterway port completes the construction of one or more wharves, and the investor wishes to commence operations immediately, the investor must compile a dossier to request the competent authority to announce the temporary operation.
