Priority Order at Locations with Temporary Road Signs Installed at Places with Fixed Signs
At Article 4 of National Technical Regulation QCVN 41:2019/BGTVT stipulates the Order of Effectiveness of the Signaling System as follows:
- When different forms of signaling with different meanings are simultaneously arranged in one area, traffic participants must comply with the type of command in the following order:
+ Commands from traffic controllers;
+ Commands from signal lights;
+ Commands from signage;
+ Commands from road markings and other markings on the road surface.
- When at a location where a fixed sign is placed and another temporary sign is placed which has a different meaning, the traffic participants must comply with the command of the temporary sign. Temporary signs are the ones used for situational purposes to organize and control traffic in short-term scenarios such as events, traffic incidents, or during road construction or repair.
=> Therefore, according to the above-stipulated regulations, at a location where both temporary and fixed signs are placed, vehicles must move according to the temporary sign.
Respectfully.
