Principles for Operating Vehicles When Entering and Exiting Highways
At Clause 1, Article 26 of the 2008 Road Traffic Law, it is stipulated:
Drivers, operators of specialized vehicles on highways, in addition to complying with the traffic rules specified in this Law, must also comply with the following regulations:
- When entering the highway, must signal the intention to enter and yield to vehicles already operating on the highway. Only proceed to merge with the traffic when it is safe to do so, merging into the lane closest to the outer edge. If there is an acceleration lane, the vehicle must travel on that lane before merging into the highway lane;
- When exiting the highway, must gradually move to the rightmost lane. If there is a deceleration lane, the vehicle must travel on that lane before exiting the highway;
=> Therefore, when executing the operation of vehicles entering and exiting the highway, in addition to complying with the principles according to the road traffic law, the operator must follow the above-stated regulations.
Respectfully.
