Land Reserved for Roads Still Permitted for Other Constructions
Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 43 of the 2008 Law on Road Traffic, it is stipulated as follows:
Within the land designated for roads, the construction of other works is not allowed, except for some essential works that cannot be arranged outside this scope but must be approved by the competent authority, including works serving national defense, security, management, road exploitation, telecommunications, electricity, water supply and drainage pipelines, gasoline, oil, and gas.
Thus, according to the legal regulations, it is still permitted to construct other works on land designated for roads, but they must be approved by the competent authority as stipulated above.
