Is it permitted to drive a 4-ton truck at the age of 22?
Point d Clause 4 Article 59 of the Road Traffic Law 2008 stipulates about driving licenses as follows:
Category C is issued to drivers of trucks, tractors with a payload of 3,500 kg or more and vehicles specified for Category B1, B2 driving licenses.
If you want to drive a 4-ton truck, you must have a Category C driving license.
According to Point c Clause 1 Article 60 of the Road Traffic Law 2008 stipulates about the age of drivers as follows:
A person who is 21 years old or older is allowed to drive trucks, tractors with a payload of 3,500 kg or more; drivers holding Category B2 driving license can tow a trailer (FB2).
Thus, at 22 years old, you meet the age requirement to drive a 4-ton truck. Besides the age requirement, you also need to meet the health conditions specified in Joint Circular 24/2015/TTLT-BYT-BGTVT.
Sincerely!
