Is It Permissible to Reverse a Vehicle at a Pedestrian Crosswalk?
Based on Clause 2, Article 16 of the 2008 Law on Road Traffic, the regulations are as follows:
Backing up a vehicle is not allowed in areas where stopping is prohibited, on pedestrian crosswalks, at intersections, at same-level crossings with railways, where visibility is obstructed, in tunnels, and on expressways.
Therefore, in your case, reversing the vehicle is not permitted on the pedestrian crosswalk as per the aforementioned regulations.
