I'm going to travel on Vietjet Airlines to go back to my home town and I want to bring some toiletry articles. Am I permissible to do that?

Is it permissible to bring toiletry articles on the planes in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Section III of the List of dangerous items restricted from being carried on the person or in baggage on board an aircraft (issued together with the Decision 1541/QĐ-CHK in 2021) stipulating as follows:

8) Toiletry articles (including aerosols)

the term “toiletry articles (including aerosols)” is intended to include such items as hair sprays, perfumes and colognes:

a) no more than 0.5 kg or 0.5 L total net quantity per single article;

b) release valves on aerosols must be protected by a cap or other suitable means to prevent inadvertent release of the contents;

c) no more than 2 kg or 2 L total net quantity of all articles mentioned in 8), 3) and 11) per person and no more than 0.5 kg or 0.5 L total net quantity per single article.

Above are requirements for bringing toiletry articles on the planes in Vietnam.

10) Alcoholic beverages

a) If containing not more than 24% alcohol by volume: not subject to any restrictions.

b) If containing more than 24% but not more than 70% alcohol by volume: must be placed in the manufacturers’ containers with intact seals and labels, in receptacles not exceeding 5 L, with a total net quantity per person of 5 L.

c) If containing more than 70% alcohol by volume: must not be carried on the person or in carry-on baggage or checked baggage.

As regulations above, the law doesn't prohibit bringing alcoholic beverages with under 70% alcohol by volume on the planes. The amount shall depend on the percentage of alcoholic volume.
