The Inland Waterway Port Authority is the agency that performs the state management function specialized in inland waterway transportation at ports, inland wharves (hereinafter referred to as ports, wharves), and anchorage areas to ensure compliance with the regulations of the law on inland waterway traffic order, safety, and environmental protection.
