How long will transportation business vehicles not in operation be subject to emblem withdrawal?
Based on Clause 10, Article 22 of Decree 10/2020/ND-CP (Effective on April 1, 2020), the transport business unit will have its badges, signage revoked under the following circumstances:
- Revocation of all badges, signage of the transport business unit's vehicles when the transport business unit is subject to the sanction of business license suspension by the competent authority;
- Revocation of badges, signage of the violating vehicle in the case when data extracted from the vehicle journey monitoring equipment within one month shows 05 speeding violations per 1000 km of driving (excluding speeding violations of 05 km/h or less);
- Revocation of badges of fixed route transport vehicles when the enterprise or cooperative does not operate transport business on the route for a continuous period of 60 days.
=> Hence, based on the above regulation, not all instances of inactivity result in the revocation of badges. Badges are only revoked for fixed route transport vehicles when the enterprise or cooperative does not operate transport business on the route for a continuous period of 60 days.
