Driving a Motorbike with a Breath Alcohol Concentration of 0.48 milligrams per Liter: Applicable Penalties?
Based on Point e Clause 8 Article 6 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it stipulates:
A fine ranging from VND 6,000,000 to VND 8,000,000 shall be imposed on motorcycle drivers committing one of the following violations:

Driving on the road with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding 80 milligrams/100 milliliters of blood or exceeding 0.4 milligrams/1 liter of breath;
Thus, in cases where a motorcycle driver on the road has a breath alcohol content exceeding 0.4 milligrams/1 liter of breath, a fine ranging from VND 6,000,000 to VND 8,000,000 will be imposed. Therefore, for violations where the breath alcohol content is 0.48 milligrams/1 liter of breath, a fine ranging from VND 6,000,000 to VND 8,000,000 will be imposed.
Simultaneously, this violation will result in the revocation of the driver's license for a duration of 22 months to 24 months (Point g Clause 10 of this Article).
