Driving a Car Exceeding the Speed Limit by 20 km/h: How Long is the License Suspension?
Based on Point i Clause 5 Article 5 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, it is stipulated:
A fine ranging from VND 3,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers of automobiles who exceed the regulated speed limit by 10 km/h to 20 km/h.
Simultaneously, Point b Clause 11 of this Article also stipulates that in case of violation specified in Point i Clause 5, the driving license will be suspended from 01 month to 03 months.
Thus, if the driver exceeds the regulated speed limit by 20 km/h, their driving license will be suspended from 01 month to 03 months.
