Conditions for Issuing Certification of Certification of Professional Competence and Trainer for Crew Members
According to Article 44 of Circular 03/2020/TT-BGTVT (effective from April 15, 2020), stipulating the conditions for issuing a Confirmation Certificate of Competency and Trainer for crewmembers as follows:
- Hold a General Operator's Certificate (GOC), a Restricted Operator's Certificate (ROC), or a Training Certificate for service on oil tankers, chemical tankers, liquefied gas tankers, ships operating in polar waters, or high-speed craft.
- In the case of confirming the issuance of an advanced training certificate for ships operating in polar waters, the individual must have a minimum of 02 months of work experience in polar waters or an equivalent recognized experience.
