Can vehicles without QR code identification be used for transporting goods?
Guidance on the construction of the "Green Lane" for priority transportation for vehicles transporting goods, workers, and experts, ensuring uninterrupted circulation 24/24h in localities implementing the application of Directive 16/CT-TTg issued by the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam under Official Dispatch 4977/TCDBVN-VT of 2021, in which:
Automobiles transporting essential goods for social welfare, ensuring business and production operations, exports, transportation of equipment, materials, and medical products for Covid-19 prevention,... with routes traveling to, from, or through locked-down, distanced, or epidemic areas => are allowed to enter the Green Lane.
Moreover, according to Official Dispatch 5187/VPCP-CN of 2021 regarding facilitating the transportation of goods during the Covid-19 pandemic, checkpoints on all highways, national roads, provincial roads, inter-district roads, and urban transport nationwide will not inspect:
Vehicles with valid QR Code identification issued by the transport sector for transporting goods for construction, production, business, export-import, consumption (except for prohibited goods).
In cases where the vehicle does not have a QR Code identification or if it is expired, a check will be conducted for health declaration, and a certificate of test results for SARS-COV-2 for individuals in the vehicle.
Thus, if the vehicle does not have QR Code identification, it is still allowed to enter the "Green Lane" if transporting essential goods but must ensure:
- Health declaration;
- Certificate of test results for SARS-COV-2 for persons in the vehicle (driver and any accompanying individual).
Having a QR Code identification will save time during inspection. Therefore, you can register to receive the Certificate as per regulations.
