Can Cars Stop on Pedestrian Crosswalks?
Pursuant to Clause 4, Article 18 of the Road Traffic Law 2008, the locations where stopping and parking are prohibited are stipulated as follows:

- On bridges, under overpasses;
- Parallel to another vehicle that is stopping or parking;
- On pedestrian crossings;
...
Thus, according to the above regulation, automobiles are not allowed to stop in pedestrian areas, including crosswalks.
