Bringing Cosmetics on Board the Aircraft: Which Regulations Must be Followed?
Pursuant to Appendix II of Decision 1531/QD-CHK of 2017, it is stipulated that:
Personal hygiene and cosmetic items (including aerosol containers) are permitted to be carried onto the aircraft under the following conditions:
- The cosmetic and hygiene items referenced here include products such as hair spray, perfume, etc. (liquids and aerosols);
- For each type, the volume/weight must not exceed 0.5 kg or 0.5 liters;
- Aerosol containers with release valves must be protected with caps or suitable means to prevent leakage;
- Each passenger may carry items specified in this Section and in Sections 3 and 13 with a total volume/weight not exceeding 2 kg or 2 liters, with each container not exceeding 0.5 kg or 0.5 liters.
These are the conditions for carrying cosmetic items on board.
