When will the 2024 high school graduation exam paper in Vietnam be announced?
Pursuant to Clause 1 Article 16 of the Regulation of high school graduation exam issued together with the Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT (amended by Clause 8 Article 1 of the Circular 02/2024/TT-BGDDT) stipulating area intended for setting and printing-copying of question papers and security requirements:

1. The question papers and answers that have not been publicly disclosed are classified as state secrets under the "Top Secret" level. The reserve question papers are not to be decrypted immediately after the completion of the last exam/subject of the examination. The period of state secret protection at the "Top Secret" level for question papers of multiple-choice exams ends when the allotted time for the exam is completed. For written exams, it ends after two-thirds (2/3) of the allotted time for the exam.

As regulations above, the 2024 high school graduation exam is classified as a state secret at the "Top Secret" level. Therefore, the publicity of the question papers of the 2024 high school graduation exam will occur at the following times:
- For multiple-choice exams, it will be released when the allotted time for the exam is completed.
- For written exams, it will be released after two-thirds (2/3) of the allotted time for the exam has passed.

What are requirements pertaining to question papers of the 2024 high school graduation exam in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 15 of the Regulation of high school graduation exam issued together with the Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating requirements pertaining to question papers:

1. A question paper of the exam must meet the following requirements:
a) The content shall comply with clause 2 Article 4 hereof;
b) Ensure the conciseness, scientific and educational properties; be framed in a clear and easily understandable language;
c) Stick to the standards of knowledge and skills of the high school curriculum; ensure the categorization of candidates;
d) Point for each question shall be printed in the written question paper; scores of the written papers and the multiple-choice papers are converted into a 0-10 point scale for the whole papers and the same scale applied to the component papers of a combined paper;
dd) The question paper shall state the number of pages (if 2 pages and above) and clearly indicate the word “HẾT" (THE END) at the end of the paper.

Pursuant to Clause 1 Article 37 of the Regulation of high school graduation exam issued together with the Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating cases of exception in graduation recognition:
Cases of exception in graduation recognition
1. Candidates who meet the requirements prescribed in Article 12 of this Regulation may be granted an exception of graduation recognition in the following cases: Those who have an accident, get sick or get into unexpected situations during 10 days before the exam or being unable to take the exam because of the mentioned reasons at the first day of exam.
a) Conditions for granting exception: Academic performance and conduct in 12th grade shall be classified as Good and above;
b) Required documents in the application: The admission and discharge notes of hospital of district level and above are required in the case of sickness and having an accident; records for unexpected situations verified by the local People’s Committee are required in the case of getting into unexpected situations. Proposal record of exception in graduation recognition of the high school at which the candidate registered for the exam and proof of academic performance and conduct in 12th grade.

Pursuant to Clause 1 Article 12 of the Regulation of high school graduation exam issued together with the Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating following regulations:
Candidates and eligibility requirements for examination
1. Candidates include:
a) Students who have finished the high school program in the year of exam;
b) Those who had finished the high school program but have yet taken or did not pass the high school graduation exams of previous years;
c) Those who obtain high school graduation diplomas or Diploma Level 4 of VQF/ Intermediate Professional Education Diploma now take the exam as the basis for university and college admission;
d) Other special cases subject to decision of the Minister of MOET.

As regulations above, candidates, who meet the requirements for examination but have an accident, get sick or get into unexpected situations during 10 days before the exam or being unable to take the exam, may be granted an exception of graduation recognition. In addition, they must satisfy followin requirements:
- Academic performance and conduct in 12th grade shall be classified as Good and above;
- They must have confirmation documents regarding accident status such as the admission and discharge notes of hospital of district level and above.
- They must have proposal record of exception in graduation recognition of the high school at which the candidate registered for the exam and proof of academic performance and conduct in 12th grade.
