When shall students have their study results retained in Vietnam?

At Clause 1, Article 15 of the Regulation promulgated together with Circular 08/2021/TT-BGDDT on the Regulation on undergraduate education issued by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, it is stipulated:

Students are allowed to temporarily leave school and have their study results retained in the following cases:

- Deployed into the armed forces;

- Assigned by a competent authority to represent the nation in international competitions or tournaments;

- Being ill, in maternity, or involved in an accident requiring long-term treatment with certification from a competent medical facility as prescribed by the Ministry of Health;

- For other personal reasons, provided they have completed at least one semester at the training institution and are not in cases of being considered for expulsion or disciplinary action.

=> Therefore, the aforementioned cases are eligible for students to have their study results retained.
