According to the official information from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, after the announcement of the entrance exam results for Grade 10 in Hanoi for the academic year 2024-2025, candidates who wish to request a score review can submit their appeal to the educational institution they are studying at from July 3rd to July 9th, 2024. Afterwards, the educational institution will send the list of candidates requesting a review and the appeal forms to the Department of Education and Training.
By no later than July 11th, the Department of Education and Training will input the review list and submit the data of the candidates requesting a review to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
By no later than July 28th, 2024, the Department of Education and Training will receive the review results from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and return the candidates their "Report on the Entrance Exam Results for Grade 10 of the academic year 2024-2025 after the review" (if any).

2. Target groups eligible for additional priority points.
The Department of Education and Training specifies the amount of additional points for each target group eligible for priority points, with a difference of 0.5 points between two consecutive priority groups on a scale of 10 points. These groups include:
a) Priority Group 1:
- Child of a martyr;
- Child of a disabled veteran with 81% or higher disability;
- Child of a disabled soldier with 81% or higher disability;
- Child of a person issued a "Certificate of Policy Beneficiary" as a disabled veteran with a disability level of 81% or higher;

Based on Article 4 of the Regulation on Recognition of Completion of Lower Secondary Education, issued together with Circular 31/2023/TT-BGDDT, the conditions for recognizing completion are as follows:

Students will be recognized as completing lower secondary education if they meet the following conditions:
1. Not exceeding 21 years of age (calculated by year) for students who have completed the regular lower secondary education program; 15 years of age or older (calculated by year) for learners who have completed the continuing education lower secondary education program.
In the case of students returning from abroad, grade skipping, or studying at an older age than the prescribed age, the regulations on age according to the educational level of the Ministry of Education and Training will be applied.
2. Having completed the regular lower secondary education program or the continuing education lower secondary education program.
3. Having a complete portfolio as specified in Article 6 of this Regulation.
As regulated above, students will be recognized as completing lower secondary education when they meet the following conditions:
- Not exceeding 21 years of age (calculated by year) for students who have completed the regular lower secondary education program; 15 years of age or older (calculated by year) for learners who have completed the continuing education lower secondary education program.
