In subsection 4, Section II, Official Dispatch 3883/BGDDT-GDDH stipulates admission confirmation and admission organization for candidates as follows:

- Training facilities guide candidates to confirm admission and organizes admission for candidates within the specified time.

- All candidates must confirm admission online on the System, from September 16 to before 5:00 p.m. September 30, 2022.

- Investigating officers are not allowed to request candidates to confirm admission or enrollment before September 16, 2022 and are not allowed to end admission confirmation or enrollment before 5:00 p.m. September 30, 2022.

Thus, the time to confirm university admission in 2022 on the online system is from September 16, 2022 to before 17:00 on September 30, 2022 in Vietnam.

Can candidates majoring in early childhood education who do not confirm their admission to university in 2022 on time be re-confirmed in Vietnam?

According to Article 21 of the Regulations on university and college admission in the field of preschool education issued together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, it stipulates the notification of results and confirmation of admission as follows:

1. The training facility sends admission notices to successful candidates, clearly stating the necessary procedures for candidates upon admission and the candidate's admission method.

2. Candidates confirm admission online on the system, before enrolling at the training facility.

3. For candidates who do not confirm admission within the prescribed time limit:

a) If there is no legitimate reason, the candidate will be considered to refuse admission and the training facility has the right not to accept;

b) If due to illness or accident, there is a certificate from a district hospital or higher or due to a natural disaster with confirmation from the People's Committee of a district or higher, the training facility will consider and decide to accept candidates to study or reserve admission results for candidates to study later;

c) If errors or mistakes are caused by admission staff or individual candidates, the training facility proactively coordinates with relevant individuals and organizations to review the evidence and make a decision whether to accept candidates to study or reserve admission results for candidates to study later.

4. Candidates who have confirmed admission at a training institution are not allowed to participate in admission elsewhere or in additional admission rounds, unless permitted by the training institution.

Therefore, in case a candidate does not confirm admission to university in 2022 at the prescribed time, it will be considered a refusal of admission without a valid reason in Vietnam.

In case the candidate is sick or due to a natural disaster, the 2022 university admission is not confirmed on time, the university will accept admission if there is a hospital confirmation or a confirmation from the People's Committee in Vietnam.

Does the university handle complaints about 2022 admission confirmation in Vietnam? 

Pursuant to Subsection 5, Section II, Official Dispatch 3883/BGDDT-GDDH stipulates handling of complaints as follows:

- Training facilities must make commitments to candidates; Consulting, supporting and resolving complaints, protecting the legitimate rights of candidates in risky cases announced in the admission project according to regulations.

- Coordinate with relevant investigation departments to resolve complaints, complaints, and denunciations related to the investigation department's recruitment work according to the provisions of law.
