What is implementation of procedures for the recognition of the board of directors in the first term of office of intermediate schools in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 15 of Circular 14/2021/TT-BLDTBXH, procedures for the recognition of the board of directors in the first term of office of intermediate schools are as follows:
1. Procedures for the recognition of the board of directors in the first term of office
Determine the number and the membership structure of the board of directors
The legal representative of the founding member of the school shall convene and preside over the meeting attended by the founders, capital contributors to determine the number and the membership structure of the board of directors.
b) Request the Department of Labor-War Invalids and Social Affairs of the province where the school is headquartered or related facilities of productions, businesses, services to appoint representatives to participate in the board of directors;
c) Party organizations, unions, and teachers shall hold their own meetings to appoint representatives to participate in the board of directors;
d) The election of the chairperson and secretary shall be conducted by secret ballots;
dd) The legal representative of the founding member of the school shall send an application for recognition prescribed in clause 3 of this Article through online public services, by post, or send directly to the Service of Labor-War Invalids and Social Affairs of the province where the school’s main facility is based;
e) Within 15 working days from the date of receipt of the complete application for the recognition of the board of directors of the private intermediate school, the Director of the Department of Labor-War Invalids and Social Affairs shall consider issuing a decision on the board of directors recognition. The decision on the board of directors recognition must specify the identities of the board of directors’ members. If the application is rejected, provide explanations through written documents.
