According to Clause 7, Article 1 of Circular 24/2018/TT-BQP, the subject combinations for admission to military academies are as follows:
1. Subject combinations for admission: Implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the subject combinations for admission include: Combination A00 (including subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry); Combination A01 (including subjects: Mathematics, Physics, English); Combination B00 (including subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology); Combination C00 (including subjects: Literature, History, Geography); Combination D01 (including subjects: Mathematics, Literature, English); Combination D02 (including subjects: Mathematics, Literature, Russian); Combination D03 (including subjects: Mathematics, Literature, French); Combination D04 (including subjects: Mathematics, Literature, Chinese).
a) Military Medical Academy: Admits based on subject combinations B00 and A00;
b) Border Guard Academy: Admits based on subject combinations C00 and A01;
c) Military Science Academy: Admits based on subject combinations D01, D02, D04, A00, A01 (according to each major);
d) Political Officers College: Admits based on subject combinations C00, A00, and D01;
e) Other academies: Military Technical Academy, Logistics Academy, Air Defense - Air Force Academy, Navy and other officer schools: Army 1, Army 2, Information, Engineers, Special Forces, Military Technical Academy (Vin - Hem Pich), Armor, Air Force, Artillery, Chemical Defense: Admit based on subject combinations A00 and A01;
f) In case the schools have documents proposing changes to the subject combinations for admission, the Military Recruitment Board of the Ministry of National Defense will consider, decide, and announce in the enrollment plan and the document "Things to know about admission to schools in the military."
Therefore, the Political Officers College will admit based on subject combinations C00 (including subjects: Literature, History, Geography); A00 (including subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry); and D01 (including subjects: Mathematics, Literature, English).

Are tattoos allowed for the Political Officers College entrance exam in Vietnam?
Based on Article 14 of Circular 24/2018/TT-BQP, which regulates the standards of politics and ethics for admission to military academies, the following criteria apply:
1. Candidates voluntarily register to apply for admission to military academies; when admitted, they must strictly comply with the assigned tasks of the school and the Ministry of National Defense.
2. Politics and ethics
a) Good moral qualities, being a member of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, clear political background of the family and oneself, meeting the conditions for admission to the Communist Party of Vietnam, not violating the regulations stated in Article 2 of Regulation No. 57-QD/TW dated May 3, 2007 of the Central Executive Committee of the Party on some issues regarding the protection of internal political affairs of the Party;
b) Military personnel must be evaluated by competent authorities as having fulfilled their duties well during their military service;
c) There should be no tattoos on the body that are gruesome, bizarre, provocative, or violent and cause disgust.
Therefore, if you have tattoos on your body that are gruesome, bizarre, provocative, or violent, you are not allowed to take the Political Officers College entrance exam.
