What are purposes of the Project to support start-up of students in Vietnam by 2025?

Pursuant to Section I of the Project to support start-up of students in Vietnam by 2025 issued together with the Decision 339/QĐ-LĐTBXH in 2023 stipulating purposes of the Project as follows:

- Promote the spirit of entrepreneurship and self-employment for students, vocational education students; equipping students with knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship, confident, proactive and creative students in starting a business, actively self-employment after graduation.

- Improve the capacity of officials and teachers to support students and students to start a business; creating an environment to support students and start-ups; create favorable conditions for students to form and realize their ideas and start-up projects and create jobs after graduation.

- Effectively implement the tasks and solutions of the Project in 2023 to avoid waste and formality.

What are tasks of the Project to support start-up of students in Vietnam by 2025?

Pursuant to Section II of the Project to support start-up of students in Vietnam by 2025 issued together with the Decision 339/QĐ-LĐTBXH in 2023 stipulating tasks of the Project as follows:

Tasks and solutions

1. Continue to promote information and communication work

a) Organize the propaganda and education of entrepreneurship for pupils and students through educational activities; video clips introducing the start-up support model of the unit, reportage, images, propaganda publications on entrepreneurship; documents and media.

b) Organize commendation, commendation and honoring of collectives and individuals that have made positive contributions to entrepreneurship activities of students and students of vocational education institutions through summarizing and evaluating activities. implement the 2023 Plan and evaluate and award prizes at competitions.

2. Organize the contest “Startup ideas for students, vocational education students” in 2023 - Startup Kite 2023.

3. Organize the National Entrepreneurship Day for students and vocational education students in 2023.

4. Organize a forum for creating entrepreneurship for pupils and students in vocational education institutions.

5. Organize training, coaching, fostering knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship

a) Organize training and retraining of officials, teachers and people who work to support students and students to start a business in vocational education institutions.

b) Organize training courses on knowledge and skills on entrepreneurship for pupils and students in vocational education institutions.

c) Encourage vocational education institutions to develop entrepreneurship topics and include them in training programs in the direction of compulsory or elective to suit reality;

d) Strengthen the organization of exchange activities, seminars to exchange and learn experiences on entrepreneurship training in schools for the team working in consulting and supporting students and students to start a business.

6. Create a supportive environment for students to start their own businesses and find creative ideas for their start-ups in vocational education institutions.

a) Coordinate with businesses to organize exchange and start-up activities; organize internships and experiences at enterprises to create conditions for students to have access to production and business activities of enterprises.

b) Encourage vocational education institutions to build start-up support centers, create a shared startup space for pupils and students in the school; establishing scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship clubs for students and students in vocational education institutions.

7. Support capital for projects, start-up ideas of students, students of vocational education institutions

a) Vocational education institutions take the initiative in allocating capital to support students' start-up ideas and projects.

b) Finding and connecting with businesses that support funding for students' projects, startup ideas and activities to support start-ups at the grassroots.

8. Organizational management and administration

Inspect, urge, supervise and monitor the implementation of the 2023 Plan in localities across the country.

Thus, the project has 8 tasks in supporting students to start a business, including:

What are regulations on organization, implementation and coordination between relevant units in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Section IV of the Project to support start-up of students in Vietnam by 2025 issued together with the Decision 339/QĐ-LĐTBXH in 2023 stipulating implementation of the Project as follows:

- General Department of Vocational Education

+ Lead and coordinate with relevant units to implement the 2023 Plan.

+ Inspect, evaluate, monitor and report on the implementation of the 2023 Plan.

- Departments of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of provinces and centrally run cities

+ Assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant departments and branches in, advising and submitting to the provincial People's Committees to implement the 2023 Plan in the locality.

+ Direct, urge and monitor the implementation of the 2023 Plan in the locality. Summarize and report on start-up activities of vocational education institutions in the area to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (via the General Department of Vocational Education) before November 30, 2023.

- Vocational education institutions

+ Actively coordinate with relevant units to implement the activities of the 2023 Plan.

+ Summarize the results of activities to support students and start-up students of the unit into the content of year-end reports and report to state management agencies according to regulations.
