What are regulations on the assessment result of preschool teachers according to professional standards in Vietnam?
According to Clause 2, Article 10 of Circular 26/2018/TT-BGDDT, the classification of assessment results according to professional standards for preschool teachers is as follows:
(1) Achieving the standard of preschool teacher profession at a good level: Meets all criteria at the proficient level or higher, with a minimum of 2/3 of the criteria at the good level. Specifically, criteria 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 must be at the good level.
(2) Achieving the standard of preschool teacher profession at a fair level: Meets all criteria at the proficient level or higher, with a minimum of 2/3 of the criteria at the satisfactory level. Specifically, criteria 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 must be at the satisfactory level or higher.
(3) Achieving the standard of preschool teacher profession at the proficient level: Meets all criteria evaluated at the proficient level or higher.
(4) Not achieving the standard of preschool teacher profession: Has criteria evaluated as not meeting the standard (a criterion is considered not meeting the standard when it does not meet the required level of attainment for that criterion).

What are regulations on the teaching hours of preschool teachers in Vietnam?
According to Article 4 of Circular 48/2011/TT-BGDDT, the teaching hours of preschool teachers are regulated as follows:
- For teachers teaching groups of children or kindergarten classes, they are required to teach 2 sessions per day. Each teacher teaches for 6 hours per day and carries out preparation work for the teaching sessions as well as other tasks assigned by the Principal, to ensure a total of 40 working hours per week.
- For teachers teaching groups of children or kindergarten classes, they are required to teach 1 session per day. Each teacher teaches for 4 hours per day and carries out preparation work for the teaching sessions as well as other tasks assigned by the Principal, to ensure a total of 40 working hours per week.
- For teachers teaching inclusive classes with disabled children, each teacher is required to teach the number of hours as regulated in Clause 1 or Clause 2 of Article 4 of Circular 48/2011/TT-BGDDT.
In this case, for every disabled child in a class, each teacher is entitled to an additional 0.5 teaching hour per day.
- For Principals and Vice Principals, in addition to carrying out their duties as specified in the charter of the preschool, the Principal must directly participate in educational activities (teaching children or observing teachers' teaching sessions) for 2 hours per week.
The Vice Principal must directly participate in educational activities for 4 hours per week.
