- Identify a simple problem or rule based on analysis of the obtained data in the form of: statistical tables; picture chart; bar chart, pie chart.

- Solve simple problems related to the data obtained in the form of: statistical tables; picture chart; bar chart, pie chart.

What are requirements for the development of general competencies in teaching methods of mathematics regarding Literacy Elimination Program in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Subsection 1.2, Section IV, Part Two of the Literacy Elimination Program issued together with Circular 33/2021/TT-BGDĐT stipulating requirements for the development of general competencies in teaching methods of mathematics regarding Literacy Elimination Program in Vietnam as follows:

- Mathematics contributes to the formation and development of self-control and self-study capacity through training learners to choose goals, make study plans, form self-study, learn from experience and self-study so that they can be applied to other situations in the process of learning mathematical concepts, knowledge and skills as well as when practicing, practicing or self-help in solving math problems, solving meaningful mathematical problems.

- Mathematics contributes to the formation and development of communication and cooperation capacity through listening comprehension, reading comprehension, taking notes and expressing necessary mathematical information in mathematical texts; through the effective use of mathematical language combined with ordinary language to exchange and present mathematical contents, ideas and solutions in interaction with others, and at the same time express confidence, respect the interlocutor when describing and explaining mathematical contents and ideas.

- Mathematics contributes to the formation and development of problem solving and creativity by helping students to recognize problem situations; share understanding with others; know how to propose, choose the method and process to solve the problem and know how to present the solution to the problem; know how to evaluate implemented solutions and generalize to similar problems.
