What are principles of integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 3 of the Circular 32/2021/TT-BLĐTBXH stipulating principles of integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam as follows:

1. Vocational education establishments shall integrate the education of complementary knowledge and skills for pupils and students.

2. Contents of integrating education of supplementary knowledge and skills for pupils and students must be consistent with the main training program; suitable to the training industry, profession, training field, fine customs and traditions of Vietnam and not contrary to the provisions of law.

3. The integration of education of complementary knowledge and skills for students must ensure logic, science, focus and focus in appropriate forms; combination of theory and practice, associated with practice, in accordance with regulations on organization and implementation of training programs at all levels.

4. The process of organizing and integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for pupils and students requires close coordination between schools, families and businesses.

5. The head of the vocational education institution shall decide and take responsibility for the content, duration, methods and quality of integrating the education of supplementary knowledge and skills for pupils and students.

What are regulations on time limit for integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 5 of the Circular 32/2021/TT-BLĐTBXH stipulating time limit for integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam as follows:

1. The head of the vocational education institution shall decide the duration of integration of the education of supplementary knowledge and skills for pupils and students, but must not exceed 10% of the total duration of the main training program for students of elementary level training and not exceeding 5% of the total length of the main training program for intermediate and college level training.

2. The duration of integrating the education of complementary knowledge and skills for pupils and students must be consistent with the training program, training plan and training schedule of the vocational education institution.

What are methods of integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 6 of the Circular 32/2021/TT-BLĐTBXH stipulating methods of integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam as follows:

1. Complementary knowledge and skills are an independent content, integrated in the main program or extracurricular activities in a logical, scientific and appropriate manner.

2. Additional knowledge and skills for students are integrated into each specific module, subject or lecture or designed into independent modules and subjects of the course.

3. The head of a vocational education institution shall decide that supplementary knowledge and skills for pupils and students are compulsory or optional contents of the course.

What are regulations on evaluation the learning outcomes of students when integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 7 of the Circular 32/2021/TT-BLĐTBXH stipulating evaluation the learning outcomes of students when integrating education of complementary knowledge and skills for students in Vietnam as follows:

1. The assessment of students' learning results of supplementary knowledge and skills is done through the results of the test at the end of each subject with the integration of complementary knowledge and skills.

2. The head of a vocational education institution shall specify the assessment of the learning results of students, supplementary knowledge and skills.

3. Results of learning supplementary knowledge and skills are one of the criteria for evaluating training results of students in vocational education institutions.
