Approval of the School Health Program for the period 2021 - 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Program) with the following contents:

II. SUBJECTS OF THE PROGRAM

1. Beneficiaries: Students who are being nurtured, cared for and educated at school.

2. Subjects of implementation: Managers, teachers, medical staff and employees, workers in the kitchen, canteen, canteen, people doing other work related to school health in the school; people working at establishments that provide meals and drinks for students; the student's parent or guardian; relevant organizations and individuals.

Accordingly, the subjects of the School Health Program for the period 2021 - 2025 include beneficiaries and beneficiaries as follows:

What are criteria for care of students' health in the School Health Program for the period 2021-2025 in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Subsection 1, Section III of the Decision 1660/QD-TTg in 2021 stipulating criteria for care of students' health in the School Health Program for the period 2021-2025 in Vietnam as follows:

- 80% of schools ensure the conditions for performing school health work, taking care of students' health in accordance with the law.

- 85% of schools carry out health checks at the beginning of the school year in accordance with the law.

- 50% of schools carry out assessment and early detection of risk factors for non-communicable diseases and mental health for students.

- 75% of schools provide enough and ensure the quality of drinking water and clean water for daily life and school activities in accordance with the law.

- 100% of schools have toilets for students, of which 50% of schools have enough toilets for students in accordance with the law and 80% of toilets ensure hygienic conditions.

- 80% of schools meet safety school standards; 75% of classrooms meet lighting requirements (illumination is not less than 300 Lux); 50% of high schools arrange tables and chairs to ensure the size according to the height group of students, suitable for students with disabilities.

How will the Ministry of Education and Training in Vietnam preside over the implementation of the School Health Program for the period of 2021 - 2025?

Pursuant to Subsection 1, Section VI, Article 1 of the Decision 1660/QD-TTg in 2021, the Ministry of Education and Training assumes the prime responsibility for implementing the School Health Program for the 2021-2025 period as follows:

+) Organize, guide and urge the implementation of the Program nationwide; in which to develop and issue plans including projects, funds and related contents with a specific implementation roadmap. Supervise, examine, inspect and organize preliminary and final reviews of the implementation of the Program and report to the Prime Minister.

+) Research, develop and complete for promulgation according to their competence or submit to competent authorities for promulgation legal documents related to school health, including the assurance of human resources and treatment regimes. appropriate awareness in the implementation of school health work. Completing the inter-sectoral coordination mechanism on school health work from central to local levels.

+) Guide on reasonable nutrition, healthy food combined with increased physical activity in schools, school meals suitable for age, region, region and form of organization; regulations to limit students' access to unhealthy foods; develop communication materials, health education and prevention and control of epidemics, diseases, school diseases and school hygiene, non-communicable diseases and mental health.

+) Organize activities to improve the professional capacity of school administrators, teachers, and medical staff to effectively implement school health work, focusing on school meals. road.

+) Guide forms of activities and movements suitable to their ages and interests and organize physical training and sports activities for students in schools.

+) Guide to integrate the implementation of the Program with other related projects that have been approved (Project on ensuring reasonable nutrition and increasing physical activity for children, pupils and students to improve health, prevention of cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma in the period of 2018 - 2025; Project on ensuring facilities for preschool and educational programs general education in the period 2017-2025; Master plan on development of physical education and sports in schools for the period 2016-2020, with a vision to 2025; Vietnam Health Program and other projects).
