Article 14 of Circular 63/2022/TT-BQP (effective from November 15, 2022) stipulates the following cases for editing the content of training, retraining, and training certificates in military schools:

1. The certificate is incorrectly written.

2. There is a change in the civil registry information of the person who was awarded the certificate according to the law.

What are procedures for editing the content of training, retraining, and training certificates in military schools in Vietnam?

Article 15 of Circular No. 63/2022/TT-BQP (effective from November 15, 2022) stipulates the following procedures for editing the content of training, retraining, and training certificates in military schools:

1. Documentation for requesting to edit the content written on the certificate:

a) A request to edit the content of the certificate in accordance with the sample specified in Appendix IV attached to this Circular, certified by the agency, unit, or locality managing personnel who are requesting to edit the certificate.

b) A copy from the original record or a certified copy of the following documents: The certificate to be edited; extract or decision to change or correct civil status for the case specified in Article 14.2 of this Circular; birth certificate for the case of editing the content of the certificate due to re-registration of birth, late registration of birth; officer's ID card or professional military ID card or identity card or identity card or passport or other legal identification document with a photo of the person awarded the certificate. The information on these documents must be consistent with the request to edit the content of the certificate.

2. In case the documents in the documentation for requesting to edit the content of the certificate specified in point b paragraph 1 of this Article are not certified copies, the person requesting to edit the certificate must present the originals for the person directly receiving the dossier to compare. The person receiving the dossier signs and confirms, writes his or her name in the copy and is responsible for the accuracy of the copy compared to the original.

3. Procedures for editing the certificate

a) The person requesting to edit the content of the certificate submits directly or sends by mail 01 set of documents specified in paragraph 1 of this Article to the military school that has the authority to edit the content of the certificate.

b) Within 05 working days from the date of receiving the complete and valid dossier, the authority with the authority to edit the content of the certificate considers and decides on the editing; if not edited, it must reply in writing and state the reason.

c) The editing of the content of the certificate is carried out by a decision to edit; do not edit directly in the certificate. The decision to edit must be kept in the certificate issuance dossier of the military school and sent 01 copy to the person requesting to edit.

d) Based on the decision to edit, the authority authorized to issue the certificate fully records information about the certificate, the content of the certificate that has been edited into the appendix of the original certificate issuance book.

1. Surname, middle name, name; date of birth of the person with the certificate (recorded according to the certificate issued).

2. Certificate number, date of issue.

3. Content to be edited.

4. Reason for editing.

5. Validity and responsibility for implementing the decision.
