Weak Conduct: Is Summer Training Required?
Article 17 of the Regulation on Assessment and Classification of Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary School Students, issued together with Circular 58/2011/TT-BGDDT, stipulates the conduct training during the summer vacation as follows:
- Students whose academic performance for the whole year is classified as average or above but whose conduct for the whole year is classified as weak must undergo additional conduct training during the summer vacation, with the specific form of training determined by the principal. Tasks for summer vacation training are communicated to the family, local government, and mass organizations at the commune level (including communes, wards, and commune-level towns). At the end of the summer vacation, if the commune-level People's Committee certifies that the student has completed the training tasks, the homeroom teacher may propose to the principal to reassess the student's conduct; if a medium rating is achieved, the student can be promoted to the next grade.
According to this regulation, if the academic performance for the whole year is classified as average or above and the conduct for the entire school year is classified as weak, the student must participate in additional conduct training during the summer term.
Based on the information you provided, you had weak conduct in the second semester. However, the conduct for the entire academic year must be considered to determine whether participation in summer training is required.
Therefore, if your academic performance for the whole year is classified as average or above and your conduct for the entire year is weak, you must participate in conduct training during the summer term.
Respectfully!
