Use of Documents During Classroom Tests: What Discipline Applies?
According to Clause 4, Article 4 of the Regulation on the assessment and classification of lower secondary and upper secondary school students, issued together with Circular 58/2011/TT-BGDDT, the classification of students with poor conduct is specified as follows:
Not meeting the standards for average classification or having one of the following shortcomings:
- Serious violations or repeated offenses in implementing the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article, despite being educated, have not been corrected;
- Being disrespectful, insulting the dignity and honor, infringing on the body of teachers or school staff; insulting the honor, dignity of classmates or others;
- Cheating in studying, tests, or exams;
- Fighting, disrupting order and security within the school or society; violating traffic safety; causing damage to public property or others' property.
Therefore, using materials during the English exam is an act of cheating in an exam and will be classified as having poor conduct.
Sincerely!
