Title: Can Individuals Born in 2003 Attend 10th Grade?
Section 1, Section 2 Article 37 of the Charter of Secondary Schools, High Schools, and Schools with Multiple Educational Levels issued together with Circular 12/2011/TT-BGDDT stipulates:
- The age of students entering grade 6 is 11 years old. The age of students entering grade 10 is 15 years old.
For students who advanced a grade in the previous educational level or students entering an educational level at an age older than the prescribed age, the age for entering grade 6 and grade 10 can be decreased or increased based on the age at which they graduated from the previous educational level.
- Students who are ethnic minorities, students with disabilities, students in particularly difficult circumstances, and students returning from abroad can enter the educational level at an age up to 3 years older than the prescribed age.
Therefore, in the case where you were born in 2003 (17 years old) and are an ethnic minority, a student with disabilities, or a student in particularly difficult circumstances, you can retake grade 10.
Sincerely!
