Title: Can Good Performance Lead to Transfer from Private School to Public School?
According to Clause 3, Article 2, Transfer and Enrollment of Students in Secondary Schools and High Schools issued with Decision No. 51/2002/QD-BGDDT, the transfer from a non-public high school to a public high school is only considered and resolved in the following two cases:
- In case a student studying at a non-public high school has to relocate their residence following their parents or guardians to an area with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions where there is no non-public high school, the Director of the Department of Education and Training at the destination shall consider and decide on each specific case for the transfer to a public high school.
- In case a student studying at a non-public high school that requires entrance exams has to relocate their residence following their parents or guardians to an area where there is no non-public high school of equivalent quality, the Director of the Department of Education and Training at the destination shall consider and decide on each specific case for the transfer to a public high school.
Based on the information you provided, it is insufficient for us to conclude whether you are eligible to transfer from a non-public to a public school. Please review the above two cases; if you fall under one of them, you will be eligible to transfer to a public school.
Best regards!
