Which candidates are eligible for bonus points in the 10th grade exam in Hanoi?
Based on Subsection 1, Section 5, Appendix 2 issued alongside Official Dispatch 1006/SGDDT-QLT in 2024 regulating priority policies and direct admissions:
PRIORITY POLICIES, DIRECT ADMISSIONS
- Priority Policies
a) Add 1.5 points for one of the following categories:
- Child of a martyr;- Child of a wounded soldier losing 81% or more of working capacity;- Child of a sick soldier losing 81% or more of working capacity;- Child of a person awarded the "Certificate of a policy beneficiary like a wounded soldier" who has lost 81% or more of working capacity;- Child of a resistance activist affected by toxic chemicals;- Child of a revolutionary activist before January 1, 1945;- Child of a revolutionary activist from January 1, 1945, to the August Revolution of 1945;
b) Add 1.0 point for one of the following categories:
- Child of a Hero of the Armed Forces, child of a Labor Hero, child of a Vietnamese Heroic Mother;- Child of a wounded soldier losing less than 81% of working capacity;- Child of a sick soldier losing less than 81% of working capacity;- Child of a person awarded the "Certificate of a policy beneficiary like a wounded soldier" who has lost less than 81% of working capacity;
Thus, the categories eligible for bonus points in the 10th grade exam in Hanoi are as follows:

Note: Students who qualify for multiple priority criteria only benefit from the highest priority criterion.

- Enrollment Area 1: includes Ba Dinh and Tay Ho districts.
- Enrollment Area 2: includes Hoan Kiem and Hai Ba Trung districts.
- Enrollment Area 3: includes Dong Da, Thanh Xuan, and Cau Giay districts.
- Enrollment Area 4: includes Hoang Mai district and Thanh Tri district.
- Enrollment Area 5: includes Long Bien district and Gia Lam district.
- Enrollment Area 6: includes Dong Anh, Soc Son, and Me Linh districts.
- Enrollment Area 7: includes Bac Tu Liem, Nam Tu Liem districts, and Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong districts.
