The term of appointment for professors at higher education institutions is how long?

According to Clause 5, Article 27 of Decision 37/2018/QD-TTg, the regulations are as follows:

The term of appointment to the title of professor or associate professor is 05 years. At the end of the term, the head of the higher education institution shall review and evaluate according to the regulations on organizational structure, number, standards, and conditions for appointment to the title of professor or associate professor to decide on reappointment. The annual evaluation of professors and associate professors shall be conducted as per the current regulations applicable to lecturers.

Thus, according to the above regulation, the term of appointment to the title of professor at a higher education institution is 05 years. After the term ends, if the head of the higher education institution conducts a review and evaluation according to the regulations, you will be reappointed if you meet the conditions.
