Temporary High School Graduation Certificate: Who Signs It?
According to Clause 2, Article 44 of the High School Graduation Examination Regulations issued together with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, the procedure for approving high school graduation recognition is stipulated as follows:
- The Director of the Department of Education and Training approves high school graduation recognition for candidates who meet the conditions and takes responsibility before the Ministry of Education and Training for the graduation recognition results in their province;
- After reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Director of the Department of Education and Training announces the high school graduation recognition results and informs high schools to post the List of candidates recognized for high school graduation and issue Temporary High School Graduation Certificates to the candidates;
- The Temporary High School Graduation Certificate is signed by the Principal of the high school where the candidate registered for the examination and is valid until the Official High School Graduation Diploma is issued;
- The Departments of Education and Training send the List of candidates recognized for high school graduation to the Ministry of Education and Training immediately after the end of the examination for management and monitoring.
Thus, according to the regulations, the Temporary High School Graduation Certificate is signed by the Principal of the high school where the candidate registered for the examination and is valid until the Official High School Graduation Diploma is issued.
