Safety of Toys Used in Preschool Educational Institutions

The safety of toys used in preschools is stipulated in Article 4 of Circular 47/2020/TT-BGDDT. Specifically:

- Toys ensure safety according to the current regulations of the Government of Vietnam detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Product and Goods Quality, and the regulations of the Ministry of Science and Technology regarding the safety of children's toys.

- Toys comply with the current technical standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Toys clearly display information about copyright (tags, labels, place of import, place of production, expiry date, assembly instructions, storage); have a valid certificate of conformity; affix a conformity mark according to regulations.

- For handmade toys: materials and substances ensure hygiene, safety, and do not cause harm to users; limit the use of toys made from recycled plastic and single-use plastic products.
