Regulations on the Minimum Area of Subject Classrooms in Secondary Schools
Based on Point b Clause 1 Article 5 of Circular 14/2020/TT-BGDDT (effective from July 11, 2020) regulating the minimum working area of specialized classrooms calculated on the basis of the minimum working area for one student at a lower secondary school as follows:
For specialized classrooms in Natural Sciences, Information Technology, Foreign Languages, Multi-function rooms, the minimum working area for one student is 1.85m² and each room has an area not less than 60m²;
For specialized classrooms in Technology, Music, Fine Arts, the minimum working area for one student is 2.25m² and each room has an area not less than 60m²;
For specialized classrooms in Social Sciences (shared for subjects such as Civic Education, History, and Geography), the minimum working area for one student is 1.50m² and each room has an area not less than 60m².
