Regulations on Marking Multiple-Choice Tests in the High School Graduation Examination
Based on Clause 1, Article 29 of the High School Graduation Exam Regulations issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, the general rules for marking multiple-choice test papers are as follows:
"a) Members of the Multiple-Choice Test Marking Committee, individuals performing related duties, must not bring pencils, erasers, or other prohibited items per the Exam Regulations into the multiple-choice marking area; they must not alter, add to, or remove from the candidate's Multiple-Choice Answer Sheets in any form and for any reason;
b) Members of the Multiple-Choice Test Marking Team must strictly adhere to the prescribed multiple-choice test marking process; if any irregularities are detected during the process, they must immediately report to the Team leader of the Multiple-Choice Marking Team to jointly draft a report with the Monitoring Team and inform the Head of the Multiple-Choice Marking Committee for resolution;
c) All Multiple-Choice Answer Sheets (candidate's work) must be graded using the same specialized software provided by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), from the point of image scanning to the point when results are generated for each candidate's test score;
d) Consistent usage of test codes in the data files as stipulated by the MOET;
e) During processing and grading, the Multiple-Choice Test Marking Committee must diligently update and promptly report to the MOET as required."
The above are general provisions for marking multiple-choice test papers as stipulated in the High School Graduation Exam Regulations issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT.
