Reception of Educational Experts Returning to the Country
Reception of education experts returning home is stipulated in Article 10 of the Regulation on the management of Vietnamese education experts working abroad under the management of the Ministry of Education and Training issued together with Decision 5366/QD-BGDDT in 2018, specifically:
Education experts whose overseas working contracts have expired must return home and submit a written report with confirmation from the foreign employer and the Vietnamese representative agency abroad to the International Training Support Center no later than 15 working days from the date of re-entry into the country.
The International Training Support Center shall liquidate the contract signed with the expert as stipulated in Clause 4, Article 6 of this Regulation. The contract liquidation record must include confirmation of salary, social insurance, and other related policies of the education expert during their overseas working period.
After contract liquidation, the International Training Support Center shall submit to the Director of the Department of International Cooperation to issue a Decision on the reception of education experts returning home. The decision must clearly state the return date to provide a basis for relevant organizations and individuals to determine the time for salary, allowances (if any), and other related policies for the education expert.
