Procedure for the Dismissal of a Private College Principal
The procedure for dismissing the president of a private college is stipulated in Clause 2, Article 19 of Circular 15/2021/TT-BLDTBXH (effective from December 15, 2021) as follows:
- The dismissal of the president of a private college is defined in the school's organizational and operational regulations;
- The Board of Trustees or the sole member owning the school shall review, resolve, and prepare the dossier as prescribed in Clause 3 of this Article and send it via online public service, by post, or directly to the General Department of Vocational Education.
When submitting the dossier for dismissing the president of a private college, the Board of Trustees or the sole member owning the school must also submit the dossier for recognizing a new president to replace the one proposed for dismissal.
- Within 15 working days from the date of receiving the complete dossier for dismissing the president of a private college, the General Department of Vocational Education shall submit to the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for decision on dismissing the president of the private college. If there is no decision to dismiss, a written response must be provided, clearly stating the reasons.
