Priority Points for University Entrance Examination 2020: Based on High School Location or Registered Residence?
Pursuant to Clause 4, Article 7 of the Regulation on University Admission; Admission to the College level in Early Childhood Education, promulgated together with Circular 09/2020/TT-BGDDT (effective June 22, 2020), provisions on priority point calculation are as follows:
Candidates who continuously study and graduate from high school in a specific area will receive priority points according to that area. If during the 3 years of high school (or during the intermediate school period) the student transfers schools, the time spent studying in the area longer will determine the priority points. If the student attends a different school each year in areas with varying priority levels or spends half the study time at one school and the other at another school, the priority will be based on the graduation area. This regulation applies to all candidates, including those who graduated before the admission year.
Therefore, the priority point for University admission in 2020 will be calculated based on the high school study area. In your case, if you attended high school in Area 3 but your household registration is in Area 2, the priority points will be added based on Area 3.
Respectfully!
