Priority Points by Region for University Entrance Exams in 2021

According to Clauses 4 and 5, Article 7 of the Regulations on university admission; admission to the college level in Early Childhood Education issued with Circular 09/2020/TT-BGDDT, the division of areas and priority points is stipulated as follows:

- Area 1, add 0.75 points includes: Communes in areas I, II, III belonging to ethnic and mountainous regions as regulated during the period the candidate studied in high school or intermediate level; communes with special difficulties in the coastal and island regions; communes with special difficulties, border communes, safe communes included in the investment scope of Program 135 as regulated by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam;

- Area 2 - rural (KV2-NT), add 0.5 points includes: Localities not belonging to Area 1, Area 2, Area 3;

- Area 2 (KV2), add 0.25 points includes: District-level towns, cities under provincial management; suburban districts of cities under central government management (except for communes belonging to Area 1);

- Area 3 (KV3), no points added includes: Inner-city districts of cities under central government management. Candidates belonging to Area 3 are not eligible for area priority.
