Periodic Assessment and Evaluation of Secondary and High School Students
Periodic assessment and evaluation of lower secondary and upper secondary school students as stipulated in Clause 3, Article 1 of Circular 26/2020/TT-BGDDT. Specifically:
- Periodic assessment and evaluation are conducted after each educational phase to assess the results of studying, training, and completion level of students' educational tasks according to the subject programs and educational activities outlined in the General Education Program issued by the Minister of Education and Training;
- Periodic assessment and evaluation, including mid-term and end-term assessments, are conducted through: exams (on paper or on computer), practical exercises, and study projects.
+ The duration for periodic assessment exams on paper or computer ranges from 45 minutes to 90 minutes, with a maximum of 120 minutes for specialized subjects. Exam questions are structured based on a matrix and specifications that meet the achievement standards of each subject or educational activity as stipulated in the General Education Program issued by the Minister of Education and Training.
+ For practical exercises and study projects, there must be guidelines and evaluation criteria provided before execution.
